Importing contacts from outlook 2003

I had a hard disk failure and had to reinstall my Windows XP Home Edition and
all Office applications. I have installed Outlook 2003 and need to import my
contacts from a backup copy located on another disk. Can I simply import the
*.pst files into the newly installed Outlook 2003? Will I have to re-create
all of the personal folders that I had on the previous system? I had a
Knowledge Base Q-article that had a complete description of this process, but
am not able to locate it. If anyone has this Q-number, please include it.

Your options are simply to open your old PST and copy the Contacts from them
into your current PST or simply to reuse your former PST.
