Importing data into access

I am using MS Project 2003 professional and trying to export data directly
into an access 2003 table to analyse project data and other information from
other access databases.

The database I'm exporting to is part of a company workgroup and the table I
want to put the data into was created by me so I have full permissions.

I have pointed my ODBC drivers to the database on the network and set up my
user account and password.

At the end of the export routine I receive an error saying that I dfo not
have sufficient permission to edit the table (not true!!)

Please someone help as I'm beginning to pull my hair out!

hi,

MS Project allows you to save the project file in MS Access (MDB) format.
Try Tile, SAVE AS and slect mdb. Once saved as mdb, link or import the data
into required table. You should have update permissions to update and add
recrds in an exisiting table.
