Importing from Excel

Using Office XP on a W2K Pro box.
Is it possible to import contact information from Excel to
Outlook Contacts?

Yes. However, I did have some trouble with Range Names but found that if I
saved the Excel sheet in a *.csv format, there was no problem at all. Note
that you will have to carefully map each field from Excel to Outlook.

How do you specify a range to export from Excel to do this?

I couldn't get it to work.

But again, if your records go in rows (across) and your fields go down
(columns), head the column with something useful (name, street, etc) and
save the sheet as a *.csv (comma delim) and Outlook seems to pick up the
columns with no problem.
