importing tables from MSword to powepoint - 2000

Good Afternoon,

What is the best way to import tables from msword to powerpoint? I have
tried straight copy and paste, copy + paste special, with formatting and
without formatting. My issues are that no matter how I do it I lose my
formatting, sometimes the gridlines show, sometimes they don't or I have some
but not all. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. I have spent many
hours re-creating tables and know there must be an easier way to do this.

What you can do is highlight the table and include the cursor after the
table, then copy the table and paste it in powerpoint and in most case it
keep the format you originally have. Let me know if it work for you.
