Importing vs. Publishing

Using Pro2002 and Project Server, is there any difference
between publishing information under the collaborate
option versus importing into Project Server under the
tools option? thanks

Importing is used to bring into the database a project
that was created offline. Publishing is for a project
that has already been saved in the database.
