Importing WBS Codes (continued from thread titled 'WBS codes setup')

My research lab is in the process of changing its project
management software. I am trying to move existing project
plans from the old Project management software into MS
Project. When we are pulling up these plans in MS Project,
the WBS code outline is not being maintained. The tasks
are in the correct order, but they are all at the
same 'level', and there are no indents. I would like to
know if there is an option to select the entire column of
codes (1, 1.1, 1.2, 2, 2.1, 2.1.1, ...) or select the
entire file and automatically create that outline
structure with appropriate indenting. I have project plans
with 100+ tasks (rows) so being able to do this
automatically is important. Also, I am able to sort the
file by WBS field but this is not what I am looking for.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
