Does Outlook 2003 have the ability to function as an In/Out board with
options for lunch, back at XXXX, or others?

Outlook by itself, no. WIth a backend server like Exchange using a public
folder calendar, sure, but it will take discipline on the part of the people
whose data should be the calendar. It would be tedious enough that I expect
no one would use it.

I agree. I would like to have a flat screen by the front desk that would
project this data onto the screen for the receptionist and the public to see
who's in or out.

We have an Exchange Server (2003). The way I see it, you would have the
employees names down the left hand side of the screen and the hours across
the top with a block place for each person's hours.

Of course a computer would be necessary (or a mile of monitor cable). It's
probably more trouble than our current magnetic in/out board.

I'll have to try the public folder just for the heck of it and see how it
works before $$$ for a flat screen is spent.
