In PowerPoint how do I make each New Slide inserted be blank?

I have changed the blank design template so that the first slide in a new
presentation is blank. However when inserting a new slide it comes up with
the previous default slide (click to add title, click to add text).

If you use Insert > Duplicate slide before you modify your first blank slide,
you'll get another blank slide. Do that as many times as you need.
