Inability to save "Network Password"

The dialog box Enter Network Password keeps popping up
when I access Outlook XP and during my use of it. It will
not save the password. The problem does not impede or
limit my Outlook session, but it does waste my time as I
have to keep canceling the box while I am working. Would
very much appreciate helpful thoughts on the problem. My
thanks in advance.
