incorrect animation in slide show

I made a presentation in Office XP with using a lot animation functions. Slide show works well on my (XP) computer but as soon I run it on W2000 a big part of animation goes wrong. Some animated elements are missed, some work too fast. How to develop the slide show, which would be correctly viewed on different computers?

Unfortunately, you can't Timings will always differ from on computer to another.
You can come close. Also to have your PowerPoint XP animation work correctly,
you also need to have PowerPoint XP on all machines

many of those nice animation features have only been introduced in
PowerPoint 2002 and will not run on PowerPoint 2000.

You can either use the new PowerPoint Viewer 2003 (can be downloaded for
free from Microsofts website) to view a presentation with those new
animation features or you can use "Tools - Options - Edit" to temporarily
deactivate the new features.
