Independant tasks under a summary....

Say I have a series of 5 tasks which are independant but which are contained
under one global summary. The tasks have to be completed in the next 2 months
but can be done any time during this period. How can I best represent this in
MS Project?
TIA,

Hi,

Whether or not they are under a summary doesn't seem important to me.
I would simply plan them today and give them a deadline in two months' time.

I agree with Jan about how to handle this. But this query begs the
question, "Are these tasks part of the project?" How can five tasks
not have any dependencies on any other task and still be a part of the
same project? Very unusual, at the least. Can you give us an example
of what these tasks are? I'm very curious!
