Infopath form template ID resets when published to sharepoint.

I have a WSS3.0 Site that has a Form Library with one Infopath Form
Template. I have now copied that solution to another site on the same
server, and have now found out that the 2 Form Libraries have the same
Form Template ID. This means that when I open a form from one library
and then open a form from the other form library, Infopath asks me if
I want to update my form template on my computer.

I have tried to change the Form Template ID on both of the Infopath
form templates( I've also renamed the forms "minutes-a" and "minutes-
b") and it seems to work when I save the Infopath form template on my
computer, but when I publish my form template to the form library the

From Template ID is reset to the original.

Is it possible to change the Form Template ID on an existing Form
Library?

I am using Infopath 2003 SP2 and WSS3.

Any assistance will be appreaciated - thanks in advance.

This is the problem with a little more information -

This is the original form details:
Form Name: Minutes
Form ID: urn:schemas-microsoft-comffice:infopath:Minutes:-
myXSD-2007-06-17T11-31-35

I've changed the form details as follows:
Form Name: Minutes-1126
Form ID: urn:schemas-microsoft-comffice:infopath:Minutes-1126:-
myXSD-2007-06-17T11-26-00

I save the infopath form onto my PC. close it and the reopen it and
the changes are retained:
Form Name: Minutes-1126
Form ID: urn:schemas-microsoft-comffice:infopath:Minutes-1126:-
myXSD-2007-06-17T11-26-00

However when I publish the infopath form to the second WSS3.0 form
library the details revert back to the original details.
Form Name: Minutes
Form ID: urn:schemas-microsoft-comffice:infopath:Minutes:-
myXSD-2007-06-17T11-31-35

I've copied and pasted the saved the "Minutes-1126" infopath form to
the form library (using explorer view) changed the default template
name (in settings to minutes-1126) and still the original details
appear.

Any assistance will be truely appreciated - I'm under a bit of
pressure to resolve this matter. Thanks again!

Hi,

I've had this problem with InfoPath 2007 and InfoPath Forms Services and the
only way that I was able to correct the problem was by saving all the source
files and then changing all the time stamps within the source files.
