Insert an Image Into Project Header

J

John

I am using project 2003. Everytime I insert an image into the header via
copy/paste it increases the Project file size dramatically. I have tried to
down size the image but this has had no effect.

Is there anyway I can create a link in the header or footer to the image
file??

Thanks,

John

Hi John,

Do you see any difference in file size if you use the Insert image
button in the Page Setup dialog instead of copy/paste?

I don't believe there is any option to link to the image instead of
inserting it.

The only other recommendation I can think of off the top of my head
is to print the image onto the paper through another product (Word?)
and then print your view onto the page. Obviously it would require
some careful manipulation of margins, etc.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

apart from Julie's good suggestions - have you tried to down size the image
in another package first.

What is the file type?

If it is .BMP - this is usually a large file type. Go into Paint and save
as to JPEG or GIF

Let me know if this helps
