Insert Column 2007

aHello

I have recently installed Access 2007. When I'm in the Design View of any
query the icon to Insert Column is greyed out and unavailable. I have closed
the query, the datebase and restarted the PC, Access and checked different
queries, different databases and the problem persists.

Any ideas?

Thanks, that's a great shortcut I never knew!

However, even though that works the fact that the icon is unavailable is
going to drive me nuts!! Is it a known error in 2007 or do I have to
reinstall Office?

Thank you in advance

I'm not touching '2007 with a yardstick (at least yet).
Too many bugs.
Microsoft has a tendency to come up with a good release of their product
every 3 attempt.
In the beginning it was down to 2 for msaccess (discounting the alpha
release named access 1.0)
The only 2 versions I've been fairly satisfied with since 16 bit, are '97 &
'2003 (removing the autocorrupt functionality - thx Allen Browne)
Allthough SP3 tries hard to rock my belief in '2003
