Insert document as picture

I am not able to insert a Word document (MS Word 2003) into OneNote. I am
using the trial version of OneNote and have installed SP2. Online help
indicates that the MDI format is not available with Microsoft Office Basic
Edition which came bundled with my computer. Are these MDI format files
available for downloand anywhere on the MS site or anywhere else?

I don't know, but I use the send to onenote powertoy from word to onenote.
it does not allow editing, though -- have to copy and paste for that.
