Insert path/file

Is it possible to set up for path/file name to be automatically inserted on
new docs?

You could edit Normal.dot template to do that.

It's possible, you can edit Normal.dot and insert it, however that
isn't the recommended method since Normal.dot is used for labels and
envelopes. The suggested method is to create your own template and use
it to create your documents when you want to automatically include the
filename and path.
