Inserting a Word document as the body of an email message

Is there a way to insert a word document, which has a
graphic as a logo, into the body of an email message? We
need to send a newsletter to a group of people and some of
the recipients cannot receive attachments. We thought we'd
just copy and paste the document but that doesn't makes
all the formatting disappear. (We tried saving the Word
document as an htm file and then sending the file
directly, but the logo was grainy and the bullets all over
the place.) Any suggestions?
