inserting columns showing individual resource hours in gantt view

J

Jeff

Hello - would anyone be able to tell me how to do this? I have added a
"work" column that gives me total hours worked per task, but would like to
see the hours for each individual resource, each in their own column, within
the gantt view.

Thanks ver much for your time,

Jeff

Would the Task Usage or Resource Usage Views meet your needs? They are
located under View on the main menu. You can insert the Work column if
necessary.

You'll have to go Jim's way. Resource Work is a Resource attribute,
and can't be displayed in a Task View, which is what the Gantt is. Of
course, if you have the time and the skills, you could probably put
something together in XL, but then the Gantt wouldn't be there.

Hope this helps in your world.

The best of both would be to go to window menu, select split and put the
task usage view in the bottom pane.
To do what you want is not possible.

Thanks to everyone, I really appreciate all of your answers, you have saved
me more hair pulling. I'm a bit surprised that MSP doesn't allow this kind of
view, maybe someday it will be possible...
