install code

every time i install a code in my HTML frontpage, it puts
the text on the page it seems that i have to always change
the < > to get it to work, please does anyone have an
answer?? is there something i have to change in frontpage??
I am using frontpage 2002.

Copy the HTML into Notepad, and then copy it from Notepad and paste it into FrontPage.
