Running W2K Pro & preparing to install Office XP Pro.
Does it make a difference if I install Office on a non-
system partition to save room on my system partition?

Thank you.

Hi, Bob,

As long as it's not removable, it should be fine. You'll want to be aware
that some files will have to reside on the system partition, however,
because Office does add files to the Windows directory.

I'd also caution against installing on a drive whose drive letter might
change. If that's the case, I think I'd uninstall it Office before
re-partitioning and then re-install it.
