install error with MS Office Pro 2003

I keep getting this error message when trying to detect
and repair my office software:
INSTALLATION ERROR-
"A required file, L22561412.CAB could not be found."
I must hit cancel and therefore, I cannot repair or get
beyond this point in the process.

What caused me to start the repair process was that
everytime I open the Outlook Today folder, I get a nasty
script error message: Script error
Line 298 Char:1 class not registered.
Code: 0
