Install MSO pro 2003 on new computer

MCKII

I have a Dell 8300 desktop that I purchased with MS Office pro 2003 installed
on it. I just reciently purchased a new Dell XPS desktop with Windows Vista.
During the purchasing process the dell rep. informed me that I could install
my Office software on up to (3) of my systems. I installed pro 2003 on the
new computer, entered the product key and activated the programs. Now each
time I open any of the applications the EULA screen appears and I have to
click accept to continue. Did the Dell rep. misinform me about the (3) system
install? If not, How do I keep the EULA screen from appearing each time?
Thank you for any advice.

Hi McKii,

Office 2003 Professional Edition, if an OEM product (intended for installation on a PC) is tied to the original machine and can't
generally be transferred to a new machine. (If 'OEM' appears in Help=>About for the Product ID it falls in this category). There's
usually not a restriction on installing it, but it often won't accept another 'activation' request.

Office 2003 Professional Edition - Retail allows installation on one PC plus a portable (such as a laptop) but you can also transfer
to a new machine if you're retiring one.

Only Office Student & Teacher's Edition of the 2003 products allowed installation on 3 separate machines without a transfer.

The EULA generally appears when you're not logged in as administrator so that the acceptance of the EULA isn't being recorded in the
registry.

Thank you for your responce. 'OEM' does appear in Help. It did answer what I
had suspected. I'll be looking into purchasing the 2007 suite. Thanks again.
