Install of Office 2000 Professional Upgrade

I purchased a new computer and need to install office
professional. My Office is an upgrade because my old pc
had office 95 on it. Is there a way to install it since
when it does the check for upgrade compatibility on this
pc it doesn't find the required files??

Will Office 2000 Professional run without conflicts on
the XP operating system?

Start the installation of Office 2000. When it looks for and cannot find an
installation of Office 95 on the hard drive(s) it will ask you where it is.
Simply swap CDs over, insert your old Office 95 CD and point it there. It
will confirm you do indeed have the previous version, then you'll swap CDs
back and the installation will continue.
