Install Office 2003 on a Computer That Is Running Office 2003 Beta

could someone tell me the process to install office pro
2003 on a computer that has office beta 2003 installed on
it. do i need to remove the beta edition or can i upgrade
over it.

I've done this on several machines (note that all of them were running Beta2
with the "Technical Refresh" patch (what some called RC1)). The install
removes the older version for you automatically.

In addition to what Jerry said, please be aware that installing the released
Office Professional will remove ALL Office 2003 beta software from your
computer, including OneNote. If you are interested in keeping OneNote but
are not sure about purchasing it yet, you can get a trial from the Microsoft
Office site.
