Installation MSP2002 with two servers

Hello,

Is it possible to install Project Server on two servers ?
the IIS part on one machine and the SQL database on
another one.

Yes.

You can even further distribute the application by
separating Analysis Services, Session Management etc.

Read the installation guide.

Install Sharepoint and Project Server on 1 server (the app
server/iis server) and install SQL Server and Analysis
services on another server. During installation on the App
box it will ask you to specify the SQL Server location.
Create this database with the sa roles. Makes sure your
account is in the admin. group on both servers.

Thank you for theses informations:

I have installed one IIS server and one SQL server on
different machines.

On IIS machine I installed MSP Server and STS, and SQL and
OLAP on the other.

I had to install DSO client on the IIS machine for OLAP
functions.

All is working properly.
