Installation problem with Outlook 2003

I purchased and installed Outlook 2003 but it runs very slow and keeps
allowing a window to pop up stating to insert a Microsoft Office 2000 SR-1
Premium disk that I do not have. Is there a way to uninstall Outlook 2000
SR-1 without the disks? I thought the new installation would remove the
previous one.

Aloha Gregg,

I'm going to guess that you have the "Use Microsoft Word as E-mail Editor"
turned on. Installing Outlook 2003 will remove Outlook 2000, but not Office
2000.

Go to Tools | Options | Mail Format and uncheck the boxes to use Word as
the editor.
