Installed Office 2003 & cannot open app files

Actually, I did have SNAV 2003 on the machine, and I had intended to load the
latest version, also checked out from work. I first loaded the Office 2003,
then when it indicated a successful installation, I tried to install the
SNAV. I got a message that I needed to uninstall the Systemworks 2003 before
loading the latest SNAV update. I did that, and ever since still get a
prompt that says I have to uninstall Systemworks. Apparently, there are some
residual files somewhere, and SNAV does not want to install. I saw a file in
the MS knowledge base that offered the same suggestion about disabling
Norton, but since I had already uninstalled it (most of it at least), that
wouldn't work. It seems like I am fighting several problems here, but I
don't know if they are separate, or overlapping.

Use Windows Explorer to search for a file named OFFICEAV.DLL on
the hard drive (include system and hidden files/folders in your
search options). If you find it, note the folder where it is
located, and use the "regsvr32 /u" method described in KB329820
to unregister the DLL.
