I am having trouble installing Microsoft Office 2003 CD it has the CDKEY
on
front of the Microsoft Office 2003 CD and it says you have entered the
wrong
product key
This CD was given to me out of mothers estate have no idea why its not
working
Is this a copy of a CD or an original hologramed Microsoft CD?
If It is a copy it is probably improper to use the CD to install the
software (pirated.)
If it has a company name on the CD like Dell or Gateway, it is an OEM
program and can't legally be installed onto another computer than the
original one it was installed on.
If it is an original CD the key will be 5 sets of 5 characters
(alphanumeric) with a hyphen between them. The key is not printed on the CD
itself but is on an orange sticker on the original CD case that says "Do not
lose......" If the key is printed on the CD by using a Sharpie or like
instrument, it was probably copied wrong from the original sticker.
