Installing Office 2000 on Windows XP home edition

After installing Office 2000 I continue to be prompted to load the install
disk everytime I start Word. I have tried repairing reinstalling with no
luck. Excel runs fine but Word requires the install disk to run. I set it
up to run completely from the PC. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling
with no luck. Any ideas? Thanks.
