Failing means when I try to start PowerPoint, it never
starts, and gives me a dialog with the following generic
type message:
"MS Power Point has encountered a problem and needs to
close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." Then it says
it created an error report that I can send to Microsoft,
blah, blah, blah. I'll try finding a newer video driver,
but it seems like it would never work if this was the
problem. But any and all suggestions are greatly
appreciated.

Do you get any error messages, Sue?
Or can you tell us more about what "failing" entails? Will it just not
start, or does it start and crash when you try to open a presentation,
or something else?

Hi TAJ,
I was too optomistic when I saw power point run. Now what
I'm seeing is if I start Windows in Safe Mode, Power
Point will work - then I go back to regular windows and
Power Point will open 1 or 2 times, then go back to
failing. Any ideas for this???
Thanks,
Sue
