Installing Office 2003

I had a 60 day trial oof office Standard pre installed on my new computer.
this expired and I uninstalled it but now i can not install my Office 2003
pro it will not recognise the product key help i am Lost without Office

Reply to self. Solved while it while waiting for a reply. Closed Norton etc
thought I'd try again aand it worked. perhaps just posting a question helps.
