installing Office to new computer with upgrade cd rom

Dave

I want to install Office in my new computer, and all I
have is an upgrade disc, which worked on my old computer.
When I try to install it, I get a message that no trace of
a prior version can be found. What can I do?
Thanks

Well you obviously had a qualifying product when you prev.installed this.
You need to find the disk(s) to point yr upgrade to during the install
process.
The 'old' product was a fundamental part of yr licence for the upgrade
product
