installing office xp on new pc

I have an old pc that I had purchased the XP Professional
operating system for and installed. Office XP was on the
same cd. Now I'd like to uninstall Office XP on the old
pc and install it on the new one. How can I install just
the Office XP portion of the Windows XP Professional
disk? Also, how can I activate Office XP on the new
machine?

Hi, dt,

Did the original computer manufacturer provide you this CD? If so, you'll
need to contact them to find out if and how you can install Office XP into
the new computer. You may not be able to if it's licensed to the original
equipment.
