Installing office XP

Sam of Warm Spirit

i am getting an error message when i try installing office xp. "the
administrator has set policies to prevent this install". this is a home
computer and i know nothing about an administrator. help, help

Basically, you'll need to choose "Shut Down..." from the Start menu (Start button) and then choose the Log off
option. When it asks what user to logon as, type or choose "Administrator". If it asks for a password, type
the password for Administrator (set by the person who installed Windows XP). Or manually invoke the Run
