Installing Office

While trying to install office on a new computer I get an
error message saying it cannot find
D:\PFiles\Common\System\Mapi\1033\CNFNOT32.EXE. What is
this file and where can I get it if I don't have it?

You don't say which version of Office you are trying to
install. However, your new computer may be having
difficulty reading your CD. To check, you should be able
to navigate to the file. Go to My Computer and right-
click on the CD icon with your Office CD. select "Open"
and then follow the path to the 1033 directory. You
should see the file listed. If not, try cleaning your
CD. If it still doesn't work see if the provider of your
new machine will repair or replace it.
