Installing Office

Have 25 Office installation floppy disks from old Dell
desktop computer running Windows 98. Want to install
Office on new HP laptop running Windows XP Home Edition.
Laptop will not recognize and run the floppies. Any help
would be appreciated.

The floppy discs are knackered...

Try them in another machine. If they happen to work I'd
recommend copying the data off each disk on the hard drive
and recording to CD-ROM.
