Installing Office

Hello,
I am trying to install Office on my new computer -
Windows XP Home edition. As installation almost
completes, I get a message saying I must insert the cd
for Windows XP Professional Service Pack 1 (which I don't
have and is not listed as a critical download under
service packs for me). Then I get an error message
saying: Error 1933 - Windows Installer Service cannot
update one or more protected Windows files.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Mary

More than likely, your Windows XP Professional already contains SP1. Put in
the Windows XP CD that was used to install your system when it asks for that
CD. The message would be much better if they left off the SP1 part. I have
had this exact same problem with isnatlling Office 2000 on an XP Pro system
and using the Windows XP CD resolved it.
