installing officep on 2 computers

i recently bought 2 computers and i also purchased office
xp and can only instal this version on 1 of my pc's is
there a way to instal it on both. when i try to activate
it microsoft wizard tells me it is already installed on
1 pc already. what do i do

Providing one is a desktop and one is a notebook, just use the Activate by
Phone option, call MS on the toll free number that appears on your screen
when you choose the phone option and expain the situation. You'll be given
your activation code. Takes just a few minutes and is quick and painless.

Hi Steve,

To add to Cari's reply, if the copy of Office XP
you purchased is an OEM edition (intended for sale
pre-installed on a new PC) then it can only be
activated on a single PC. The same is true for
the MS Office XP Student and Teacher's edition
although that edition can be transferred to another
PC.
