Installing PowerPoint 2000 on top of Office XP Small Biz Edition

We have a # of Office XP Small Business installations. I
was a bit stunned to realize this product does not include
PowerPoint. Can I safely install PowerPoint 2000 on top of
an Office XP Small Business?

In a word, no. The best practice is to uninstall ALL visions of Office and
then re-install them in chronological order. Oldest version first, then the
next version.

QUESTIONS:

Do they need powerpoint to create presentations or just to
view presentations?

If they just need to view presentations, download the new
free 2003 viewer from Microsoft, purchase Powerpoint XP
just for the content developers.
