Installing problems for Publisher 2002

I have installed my old Publisher 2002 on my new computer, but don't have the
registration code from the CD cover.
Can anyone suggest how I can get Pub installed without the registration
number, or give me a registration number that will work?
Thanks if you can help me.

Did Publisher come with your other computer?

BTW - no one will give you their number because that would be illegal.

Thanks, JoAnn. Yes, I know that no one will give me product key, nor should
they.
I actually did not ask the right question. I was looking for where the
product key might be stored in the registry, and how to get to it.

Thanks John. I will follow up with how to get the product key from what I
have with the CD and the registry.
Thanks again.

Why didn't you say so?

Try using Belarc Advisor.
http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html

It will create a profile of your computer and
you just scroll down to Software Licenses /
Microsoft - Publisher 2002
