My PC came with MS Office XP Small Business edition. I
now have a need for PowerPoint, which is not part of the
XP Small Business edition on my computer.
Because I currently qualify for the Teacher/Student
version of MSO 2003, I chose to purchase that edition to
add PowerPoint on my computer. If I install only
PowerPoint from my new 2003 edition now, does that count
as one of the three installations allowed for the entire
suite/edition, or just for PowerPoint? Would I still
qualify for 3 installations of Word 2003 at a later point?
Also, years ago I owned an "educational" version of a
software, but later found that it was not upgradeable at
a time when I no longer qualified for a newer educational
version. So, I would hate to replace all of the XP
Office programs with the 2003 educational versions if
doing so would make them non-upgradeable. Any
suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank you!
