Installing upgrade on new computer

I have Office 97 Professionsl on my computer and recently
purchased the upgrade to Office 2003 Professional. I will
be purchasing a new computer soon and want to install the
2003 version on that computer. Will I need to install the
97 version first, then the upgrade? Or can I just install
the upgrade software?

Provided you have the Office97 CDs, you can just install the 2003 Upgrade...
when it looks for and cannot find the previous version, simply swap CDs over
and insert the 97 CD... point it toward this.

It will confirm you do indeed have the previous version... then swap CDs
back and the installation of Office Suite 2003 will continue on its merry
way.
