Installing Word

I've made several attempts to install Office 2000
Professional and I'm unable to use Word. When I select
WORD, the computer locks up and I have to reboot to get
out of that loop. All other Office programs work fine. I
get the same thing when I try to run WORD from the CD. Any
Ideas?

Hi Bill

Office 2000 is up to service pack 3 I think. Download the
latest and update your system first. You'll probably find
that things will clear up after that.
