Internet Link in Word Document

I am running Word 2007 and have a problem inserting an Internet Page Link into a word
document. I go to the page in IE8, copy the link from the top box, return to the word
document and paste it in, but it does not paste it as a hyperlink that you can just click
on (or double click) in the word document and have it launch IE and go to the page.

What am I doing wrong?

Any insights/suggestions appreciated.

I've found that typing a space after the pasted url turns it into a
hyperlink?

And if it still doesn't work, make sure that the "Internet and network paths
with hyperlinks" in the "Replace as you type" section of the AutoFormat As
You Type tab of the AutoCorrect dialog box.

To display the dialog, click Office button | Word Options | Proofing |
AutoCorrect Options.

Thanks, it worked great with the previous suggestion.
