During an upgrade from Office 2003 S&T version to beta 2, I get an error
message saying "invalid drive S" .
I've read other posts on that where they said to remove references of the
offending invalid drives ... but my problem is that drive S is a VALID
network drive, and I've mapped "My Documents", "My pictures" etc as well as
Outlook data files to that drive.
The only way I was able to get around it was to map all those folders back
to \Documents and Settings\username .... and then map them back after the
install.
My question is why did I have to do that ???
