Invalid links to .aspx files created when saving as html

I have many Visio diagrams with hyperlinks in the form

routine.aspx?param=value

In Visio 2002 when I do "Save as Web Page" Visio
truncates all text after the ? i.e. the link becomes

routine.aspx

I tried the suggestion in Knowledge Base article 299175
and put a space in Hyperlink base. This solves the first
problem and creates a new problem in that now the
generated link (still invalid) is an absolute rather than
a relative path, i.e.

/routine.aspx?param=value

which does not work correctly when I load the
generated .gif and .htm files into my website.

All of this worked fine when I used Visio 2000.

How can I solve this?

Thanks

Did you uncheck the box on the hyperlink dialog that says something like
"use relative path"?

Can you try putting a different character into the Hyperlink Base field?
