Inventory database

am into designing a database that will have to manage products of variuos
kind from different supplier and then I need to be able to get the database
to tell me the balance of the products and also it should be able to flash at
startup those products that have reached their re-order level for me to make
their purchase to restock and also send a mail to the manager for approvals
when one needs to go to the store to collect any product.

Does any one know how i can go about this in ms-acces.... am a newbie and
will appreciate if I can know the table format. has any one done sometime in
similar nature.?

I would start by looking at some of the freely available template and then go
from there. It could save you a tremendous amount of time and start you off
with the correct basic table structure...
