I have a frequent problem where the Inbox in the folder list shows new
messages, but the message window won't display them. If a filter has
put new mail in another folder, there is never a problem seeing it.
The only way I can get to the invisible Inbox content is to shutdown
Outlook, and restart it. There has to be a better way! (Don't suggest
dropping Outlook. I would in a heartbeat if I didn't have to keep a
public calendar with Exchange.)
