invisible slide title

How can i give my slide a title so that I can see it instead of being "called
slide 3" but so the font is not visible on the actual slide. I have done
this by accident with some of my slides but all the subsequent ones have
black font when i try to give them a title.

The slide title in the outline view is whatever text is added to the master
slide title text box. If no text is in the master slide title text box, the
default is 'slide 1 -2 -3 -etc'

The best way for you to see it, but have it not visible on the actual slide
is to move the Master slide title text box up and off the visible area of
the slide (so you can see it in slide edit mode, but not in slideshow mode).
