Is it possible to automatically move read messages to a certain folder

I have been trying to do this for a long time now and cant get it to work. Im starting to think its not possible without some other 3rd party software plugin. Does anyone know if its possible and if so how.

You are correct. It's not possible without custom code or a third-party
tool.
